What is the legal age to get a tattoo

The legal age in South Carolina to be tattooed is 18. You must provide proof of age with a current State I.D., Drivers License, Passport or Military I.D.

If I am under 18, can a parent or guardian sign a consent form for me to get tattooed

No. It is still illegal to tattoo a minor even with parental consent form in South Carolina.

Important information before scheduling your appointment

We strongly encourage you to look at our artists’ portfolios, become familiar with their unique styles of tattooing so you can choose the right artist to create the unique design you would like. Creating unique tattoo designs through collaboration with our clients is something we thoroughly enjoy, we do not copy images of other artists, we want your tattoo to be unique and for you. Once you have chosen your artist, you will go through a consultation about your tattoo design discussing all details and aspects about your tattoo. We then will schedule your appointment date and collect a $100.00 deposit. Deposits are Non- Refundable, Non- Transferable and are applied to the final session unless your tattoo is complete in one sitting. 24 Hours notice is required for rescheduling your appointment, failure to do so will result in a forfeit of your deposit and a new deposit will be required to continue working on your tattoo. We do not perform consultations, pricing quotes, schedule appointments or collect payments over the phone, email, social media or through any apps such as cash app, paypal, venmo etc. All questions, details and information are best discussed when you come by our shop in person to meet with our artists.

Are appointments required

No, however we cannot guarantee you will be seen or tattooed as a walk-in. Walk-ins are always first come first serve and are purely based on our artists availability at the time. An appointment will guarantee your time with the artist, for larger and more detailed work we will first schedule a consultation with an artist before setting up an appointment.

What should I do before my tattoo appointment

Prior to your tattoo appointment we strongly recommend getting plenty of rest the night before so your body is refreshed. Drink plenty of water at least 24 hours before being tattooed and eat a healthy/wholesome meal within 2 hours of your appointment. Eating a healthy meal promotes stabilization of your blood sugar and allows for an overall better tattoo experience. Drugs and alcohol are not tolerated. Showing up drunk, high (on anything) or hungover makes for a negative experience for both the client and our artists. If you have open wounds, bruises, sunburn or are sick for any reason including dermal issues you will be asked to reschedule your appointment for another time after you are better. During your appointment, you are the only one allowed in the booth with your artist.

How do you price your tattoos

Tattoos are priced factoring in the size, detail, location of the body and overall time of the artist. Our artists will either price your tattoo for a flat rate or for highly detailed larger work, they’ll charge by the hour. All of our artists offer the same hourly rate of $180.00 per hour and our shop minimum is $100.00.
